Chris is curretnly a Top 25 ESPN Golf Schools instructor and has been a full time instructor with the schools (formerly Nicklaus/Flick Golf Schools) since February of 2001.  The golf school ran the lesson tee at the TPC @  Scottsdale where Chris taught from ‘01 until the end of  ‘06, during which a portion of that time he served as the Director of Instruction.  He first began his relationship with the golf schools at the Desert Mountain Golf Club in 1994.

Working for the golf schools gave Chris the opportunity to work extensively with perennial top 5 teachers Jim Flick (formerly Jack Nicklaus’ teacher) as well as Hank Haney (Tiger Woods’ teacher) and Mike Malaska, Golf Magazine top 100, as well as many other top teachers.

Teaching at the TPC @ Scottsdale gave Chris the opportunity to teach students of all abilities conducting Scottsdale City Clinics, private lessons, corporate outings, as well as the full curriculum at over 600 ESPN Golf Schools at courses around the country since ‘01:  Allowing Chris the opportuntiy to be hands on with over 1500 students a year.

Also as part of the ESPN staff Chris has had the chance to see up close the research and development centers at Nike, Callaway and Taylormade giving him unique insight and knowledge about the relationship between technology and teaching.

Chris worked as a teaching professional at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs in 1995 as well as teaching at other courses in the Phoenix area. There is no substitute for experience!

Chris has been a PGA Professional in the Phoenix area since 1990.
